Toast and Roast by Ingrid provides high quality professional catering services throughout the counties of Hertfordshire, Essex, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex and London. The Company provides hog roasts which are both authentic and mouth-watering. All our hogs are slow cooked for around 8 to 12 hours to produce mouth-watering pork and crunchy crackling around 3/4 inch thick!!!
These are all supplied with our famous home-made sage and onion stuffing and apple sauce, accompanied with a freshly baked morning fresh Brioche Bun. In addition to our hog roast we also can provide a range of freshly prepared salads, jacket potato options and a wide range of beautiful desserts. Where our pigs come from absolutely matters to us and we work exclusively with a local farm who take animal welfare to the highest level where pigs are housed in large, deep, home-grown straw yards with plenty of natural light, air and space to exercise, as well as being fed home-grown grain. We also offer a range of menus for vegetarian clients too. Using only the best equipment available, this enables us to cater for numbers from as small as 50 for a private garden party up large corporate event for over 300.

Hello! I am Ingrid and I am passionate about food and Champagne. Originally from the vineyard area of Reims in France, I have knowledge of Champagne from the small growers in the local area who don't always have the budgets to invest in branding but still produce excellent champagne and able to offer value for money.
This knowledge enables me to offer a high quality range to complement the hog roast and I also provides tasting sessions for many of my clients. And with both French and British family members I am very familiar with Hog Roasts and their popularity over here in the UK and the need to cook them slowly and over a long period ensuring the meat is full of flavour and totally succulent.
Trained by Steve Cullum personally in Lincolnshire I am able to produce mouth-watering crispy crackling around 3/4” thick. This is achieved by generating as much heat as possible at the beginning of the cooking process and this creates both a blistering effect and well as a honeycomb texture. I cater for all types of events, wonderful weddings/evening do, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Christenings, Wakes as well as many Corporate Events such as Product Launches.
